Choose a page for the table
The set includes a heart bouquet, a folded envelope, hanging hearts, a patchwork heart, heart balloons, a flower wreath, a ribboned gift and a pair of friendship mugs. Large outlines leave room for crayons and simple patterns. Offer several pages so children can choose a design rather than copy one finished example. Keep the unused drawings for another afternoon.
Make a small February display
Put a blank copy beside the colouring supplies and leave the choice of colours open. Children can add stripes, dots or a short message inside the larger shapes. After the page is coloured, an adult can help trim a wide border for a classroom display. These are full-page pictures rather than ready-sized exchange cards, so keep the paper whole when a larger drawing suits the activity.
Printing and reuse
Print only the pages you need on plain Letter paper at actual size. Try one sheet before printing a group set, especially if your printer clips narrow margins. The downloaded PDF contains the complete line drawings. Keep an uncoloured copy so siblings or classmates can use the same outline while making different pictures.
